FLY ME TO THE SAITAMA
Akutsu Sho/Dannoura Kenzo
I see this as the logical conclusion of Sho being willing to do pretty much anything for the sake of Chiba, including sleeping with people, having worked for years for the Dannouras, and Kenzo pushing him more and more out of his comfort zone — just Sho ending up in a very messy relationship that he can’t quit. I like all the power imbalance the ship comes with and the potential for seduction/coercion, but I’m also open for a more tragic take where they have something genuine that comes apart by the time the movie takes place.
- Sho is the pretty new butler who says that he will do anything for Chiba, so of course Kenzo decides to test whether he actually means anything.
- Part of the reason Sho dislikes Rei at the beginning is because he can’t help but compare Rei's relationship with Momomi with his with Kenzo, and how Rei seems to be on track not only to help Saitama, but also get his man.
- A younger Sho is dazzled by Kenzo and life in Tokyo and develops a crush on Kenzo.
- Sho giving a blowjob from under a desk.
JAPANESE LOCAL HEROES
Shuraomaru/Tiefedorf
You can find the stage shows where they appear together here and here, and here you can find links to their individual stage shows (use the side bar to find all content tagged with their names), all subbed in English.
I love how unashamedly thirsty so many of their interactions are, yet because of the combination of not being traditionally romantic + not being the type to talk about their feelings openly, it’s done under a veneer of violence where they know the other will understand that comments like “I have been wanting to fight you ever since” are flirting — plus, since both are villains (or in Shuraomaru’s case, at least a very morally dubious character) they have in each other someone who doesn’t like them in spite of the way they embrace darkness, but rather, sees it as an inherent part of who they are.
As a note, I consider Shuraomaru's appearance in Dogengers to be a separate thing, and I'd prefer if fic didn't include references to TV show-only canon (I don't expect you to have some sort of encyclopedic knowledge regarding what originated where. If you haven't seen the show you're most certainly on the safe side of this, if you have, avoiding anything that happened on screen is enough).
- Anything having to do with the creation of Ritual. Tiefedorf spending sleepless nights investigating how to combine their powers while thinking of Shuraomaru, using Ritual as an excuse to spend time together, the final step of the spell involving some sort of physical intimacy, etc.
- Either Shuraomaru (as an immortal creature of unknown origin) or Tiefedorf (as a former god) having a different concept of love/relationships and it leads to a misunderstanding of where they stand.
- Outsider POV. Sanzu being suspicious of Tiefedorf's intentions, a hero feeling awkward about all the touching going on in the middle of a fight, Kant or El Brave considering that if Tiefedorf and Shuraomaru can fall in love maybe there's good inside them still, etc.
- Tiefedorf being the person who first gets Shuraomaru to try on a western style suit.
- One of them stays over at the other's house so much that they finally get their own room there.
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: HYRULE WARRIORS
Ganondorf/Ghirahim
I don’t have much to say about this except that I had wanted to see the different villains of the TLoZ franchise interacting between them and this game delivered in a simple, but effective way. Generally speaking, I like the idea of Ghirahim seeing Ganondorf as an extension of Demise that he owes loyalty to for that reason, until he sees Ganondorf’s plans unfold and he recognizes him as his master in his own right.
For this canon in particular I don't mind if you incorporate aspects of Skyward Sword and Ganondorf's various appearances, as long as the focus remains on Hyrule Warriors.
- Ghirahim assumes that Ganondorf summoned him in particular because he expects him to be a lover as well as a general, like he was for Demise.
- After seeing him crush their enemies in battle, Ghirahim realizes he’s fallen for Ganondorf.
- Ganondorf teases Ghirahim by giving maintenance to a sword (sharpening it, polishing it, etc) in front of him.
- Ghirahim is somewhat concerned that he’s going to be discarded in the same way Cia was once Ganondorf gets what he wants, Ganondorf assures him that he owns him now.
